The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $740,000,000

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased since no one matched all six winning numbers from Friday night's $695,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize climbed to $740,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$342.9 million. The winning numbers from Friday night, December 13th, 2024 were 36-43-52-58-65 and the Mega Ball was 16, Megaplier was 3.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were 3 second prize winning tickets from Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all 5 numbers except the Mega Ball number. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA,MA,NY will collect a million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Friday evening included 24 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. In addition, 633 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers.
