Wednesday's California Super Lotto jackpot goes to $29 million; 1 second prize tickets sold

The California Super Lotto lottery jackpot is on the move again. The grand prize for the Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 drawing increases to $29 million The numbers drawn Saturday night, March 13th, 2021 were 03, 07, 08, 13, 21 and MEGA ball 19. The California Super Lotto grand prize has been rolling over for 22 draws since Wednesday, December 30th, 2020. A single lucky player walked away with $18 million grand prize in Saturday, December 26th, 2020 drawing.
While the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big piles of cash. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched the first five lotto numbers except the Mega ball number and won the second prize. The payout is $39,731. The 1 lucky second prize winning ticket(s) would win $39,731 cash. In the past year, the second prize paid the lowest $6,667 and highest $56,831 with an average payout in the amount of $25,117. Other prizes won Saturday night included 18 tickets that matched the first 4 winning numbers as well as the Mega number won $1,103. The 18 lucky winning ticket(s) which matched 4 + Mega numbers would win $1,103 cash. In the past year, the third prize paid the lowest $604 and highest $3,577 with an average payout in the amount of $1,656. With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of tickets sold across the state of California in the Saturday, March 13th, 2021 drawing.
California Super Lotto drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time. To play, choose five numbers from 1 to 47 and a Mega ball number from a different set of 1 to 27. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The odds of matching 6 California Super Lotto numbers are about 1 in 45 million. The minimum California Super Lotto grand prize starts at $7 million. If no one wins the grand prize, the jackpot prize pool fund will be added to the next jackpot.
