California Super Lotto jackpot climbs to $$9,000,000; 1 tickets won the second prize

There was no ticket sold with all 6 winning numbers in the last California Super Lotto drawing, and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing will increase to $9,000,000, according to CA lottery officials. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, March 12th, 2025 were 15, 21, 29, 37, 45 with MEGA number 03.

Even though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, California Super Lotto did produce some big winners. There was only one 2nd prize winning ticket sold from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all 5 white ball winning numbers but missed the Mega number. The 1 lucky second prize winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers would win $26,830 cash. In the past year, the second prize paid between $7,806 and $44,698 with an average payout $26,929.

Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 5 tickets that matched the first 4 winning numbers together with the Mega ball won $2,683. The 5 third prize winning ticket(s) which matched 4 + Mega numbers won $2,683 cash each. In the past year, the third prize paid the lowest $845 and highest $4,461 with an average payout $1,693.

With nine ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created winning tickets across California.

California Super Lotto drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time. California Super Lotto uses a 5/47+1/27 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 23. The chances of matching 6 California Super Lotto numbers are about 1 in 45 million. The minimum California Super Lotto advertised grand prize is $7,000,000. If no ticket wins the jackpot, the jackpot prize pool money will be carried over to the next jackpot.
