Saturday's California Super Lotto jackpot increases to $24 million; 2 players won the second prize

There was no ticket sold hit all six numbers in the last California Super Lotto drawing, and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing will build to $24 million, California state CA lottery officials announced. The winning numbers from Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 night's drawing were 07, 34, 38, 44, 47 and Mega number 07.

While there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed the Mega ball, which won the second prize. The 2 lucky winning ticket(s) would win $18,478 cash. In the past year, the second prize payout ranged from $6,667 to $56,831 with an average payout in the amount of $24,858.

Also, 10 tickets matched the first four lotto numbers as well as the Mega ball. The tickets are each worth $1,847. The 10 third prize winning ticket(s) won $1,847 cash each. In the past year, the third prize payout ranged from $604 to $3,577 with an average payout $1,665.

With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing created winning tickets across California.

California Super Lotto drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:45 p.m. Pacific Time. To play California Super Lotto, go to any lottery retailer. Pick up a playcard and pick 5 numbers from 1 through 47 and 1 Mega number from 1 to 27. The chances of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The odds of matching all six California Super Lotto numbers are 1 to 41,416,353. The minimum California Super Lotto advertised jackpot is $7 million. If no one wins the grand prize, the jackpot prize pool fund will be added to the next jackpot.
