California Super Lotto jackpot builds to $$46,000,000 Saturday; 1 tickets won the second prize

The jackpot in California Super Lotto drawing climbed to $46,000,000 for the Saturday drawing. No ticket sold for Wednesday's $45,000,000 drawing matched 6 winning numbers. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, December 4th, 2024 were 05, 21, 26, 33, 42 and MEGA ball 07.
While the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was only one ticket that matched the first five lotto numbers except the Mega ball number and won the 2nd prize. The payout is $38,967. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers will collect $38,967 cash each. In the past year, the second prize payout ranged from $6,515 to $44,698 with an average payout in the amount of $27,121. Other prizes won Wednesday night included 13 tickets that matched the first 4 winning numbers and the Mega ball won $1,498. Pick up a playcard and pick 5 numbers from 1 through 47 and 1 Mega number from 1 to 27. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 23. The odds of matching 6 California Super Lotto numbers are 1 to 41.4 million. The minimum California Super Lotto jackpot starts at $7 million. If no one wins the first prize, the first prize pool fund will be added to the next jackpot.
