The California State lottery official announced that the Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, California Super Lotto drawing resulted in a rollover, producing an $18,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Saturday. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, August 28th, 2024 were 15, 27, 28, 31, 47 with Mega ball 20. The California Super Lotto grand prize has been growing for eleven draws since Wednesday, July 24th, 2024. A single lucky player walked away with $54 million jackpot in Saturday, July 20th, 2024 drawing.
While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was a sole lucky player that matched the first 5 lotto numbers except the Mega ball number and won the second prize. The payout is $32,028. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) which matched 5 numbers will collect $32,028 cash each. California Super Lotto drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:45 PM Pacific Time. To play, pick five numbers from a set of 47 and a Mega ball number from a different set of 27 numbers. The chances of winning is about 1 to 23. The odds of matching 6 California Super Lotto numbers are 1 to 41,416,353. The minimum California Super Lotto grand prize is $7,000,000. If no ticket wins the grand prize, the jackpot prize pool money will be carried over to the next jackpot.
