The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $313,000,000

There were no tickets sold matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in the latest multi-state Powerball game draw, and the projected grand prize for Wednesday's drawing will leap to $313,000,000, according to lottery officials. The cash option stands at an estimated $$144 million. The numbers from Monday night, November 20th, 2023 were 19, 26, 30, 39, 63 and Powerball number was 13. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past seventeen draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a 1,730,000,000 top prize.
While the grand prize was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were a total of 15 3rd prize winners. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Additional winners Monday night included 205 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 72 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but also chose the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play Powerball, select 5 numbers from 1 to 69 then choose 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the prizes except grand prize. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years.
