Monday's Powerball jackpot goes to $131,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

With no winner in the last drawing, the Powerball lottery jackpot will be worth a projected $131,000,000 (cash value $$61.2 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Monday. The amount rolled over since nobody matched all 6 numbers to win the $120,000,000 jackpot Saturday night. The numbers drawn Saturday night, May 25th, 2024 were 06-33-35-36-64 and Powerball number was 24. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 8 draws since Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in FL, matched all six numbers for a 214,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was only one lucky ticket correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in TX, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional major winners Saturday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 226 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 73 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash!
