No one matched all 6 numbers. Powerball jackpot breaks to $131,000,000 Saturday night

The Powerball game jackpot has been pumped up to a projected $131,000,000 (cash option $$57.5 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Saturday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over because nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number to take the $113,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 drawing were 10-28-30-46-57 and Powerball number was 25. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past eight draws since Monday, May 4th, 2026. The last jackpot was won by two tickets sold in FL and TX, matched all six numbers and shared a $20,000,000 top prize.
Though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. 7 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Also, 167 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 74 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 432 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 148 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With 9 prize levels, there were a total of 329,180 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 drawing.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the winnings but not grand prize. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments in 29 years. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
