Powerball jackpot leaps to $86,000,000 Saturday, May 16th, 2026; 1 player won the second prize

The multi-state Powerball grand prize has rolled up to a projected $86,000,000 dollars after there was no jackpot winner in Wednesday's drawing. The cash option will be an estimated $$38.8 million. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, May 13th, 2026 were 22, 31, 52, 56, 67 with Power Ball 15.
While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was only one lucky winner matched the first 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 7 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other winners Wednesday evening included 136 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 45 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! America's favorite Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Each play costs $2.
