Powerball jackpot rises to $93,000,000 Monday night; 1 ticket matched the first five numbers

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the country. Because no player correctly hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday's drawing the jackpot will climb to a projected $93,000,000! The cash option stands at $$42.3 million. The winning numbers from Saturday night, May 10th, 2025 were 05-20-28-39-42 with Power Ball number 13.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was only one lucky ticket matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in WV, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 6 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 4 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Also, 219 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 59 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 607 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 216 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.

Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and choose a Powerball number from a set of 26. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
