Powerball jackpot leaps to $935,000,000 Saturday night; Three tickets matched the first five numbers

With no winner in the latest draw, the Powerball grand prize will be worth a projected $935,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$449.7 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Saturday. The amount rolled over since no player hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $865,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 drawing were 37, 46, 57, 60, 66 with Power Ball number 08.
While there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were three second prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five numbers except the Powerball number. The three lucky ticket(s) bought in Arizona(1), Pennsylvania(1) and Texas(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 44 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 7 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 863 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 197 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 2110 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 533 additional players not only matched 3+1, and also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With 9 ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 1,737,237 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
