Wednesday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $484,000,000; Two tickets matched the first five numbers

The multi-state Powerball lottery grand prize has climbed to a projected $484,000,000 dollars after there was no jackpot winner in Monday's drawing. The cash option will be an estimated $$228.1 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Monday night, March 24th, 2025 were 06, 23, 35, 36, 47 and Powerball number was 12. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 28 draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in OR, matched all six numbers for a $331,000,000 top prize.
While the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were two lucky tickets matched all five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in FL(1) and NJ(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 7 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 2 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Monday evening included 240 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 73 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 701 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 186 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Monday night's drawing produced 517,406 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the prizes but not grand prize. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners may choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
