Monday's Powerball jackpot rises to $800,000,000; 5 players matched the first five numbers

There was no ticket sold matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number in the last multi-state Powerball game draw, and the estimated grand prize for Monday's drawing will climb to $800,000,000, lottery officials announced. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$384.8 million up for grab. The numbers from Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 drawing were 06-23-25-34-51 and Powerball was 03.
Though the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 5 lucky players that correctly matched all five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The five lucky ticket(s) sold in California(1), Florida(1), Indiana(1), Texas(1) and Washington(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 38 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. 14 additional players not only matched 4+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional winners Saturday evening included 1097 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 269 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but also bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 2672 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 684 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 different ways to win, there were a total of 1,927,455 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 drawing.
