Enormous Powerball jackpot up for grabs Monday night

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to grow exciting players all across the nation. Because no one correctly hit all 6 numbers in Monday's drawing the jackpot will leap to $645,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$307.3 million. The numbers drawn Saturday night, March 16th, 2024 were 12, 23, 44, 57, 61 and Powerball was 05. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 32 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky player from Michigan won the 810,000,000 jackpot in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were three second prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The three second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Michigan(1), New Jersey(1) and South Carolina(1) will collect $1 million cash.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 35 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 661 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 198 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but in addition chose the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 1696 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 471 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing created 1,325,650 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments. Winners may choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
