Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rises to $559,000,000; One player won the second prize

There were no Powerball grand prize winners for Monday's $532,000,000 dollar drawing, so the grand prize will jump to an estimated $559,000,000 with the cash value at a projected $$273.3 million Wednesday, March 13th, 2024. The winning numbers from Monday night, March 11th, 2024 were 01, 03, 07, 16, 66 with Power Ball 05.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky ticket correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Virginia will collect 1 million dollar cash.
Additional prizes won Monday evening included 20 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 7 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Monday evening included 512 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 184 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each!
