No ticket matched all 6 numbers. Powerball jackpot goes to $521,000,000 Saturday night

The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game continues climbing and is going to be up to an estimated $521,000,000 for the next drawing on Saturday. The cash option stands at a projected $$249.6 million up for grab. The amount was rolled over since no one matched all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $485,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 drawing were 06-19-28-44-60 with Power Ball number 10. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 28 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky player from Michigan won the 810,000,000 top prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. 14 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
In addition, 329 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 106 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 922 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 302 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With 9 different prize levels, there were a total of 683,807 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play option, which increases the original prizes but not grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners may choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
