No one matched all 6 numbers last night. Saturday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $138 million

Wednesday night's Powerball drawing has yielded no grand prize winner for the $123 million grand prize. With no player hit all six winning numbers in Powerball , Saturday night's drawing will be worth a projected $138 million for a single winner. The cash option will be a projected $96.6 million. The winning numbers from Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 drawing were 21, 40, 44, 50, 55 with Power Ball number 16.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were a total of 11 third prize winning tickets with or without Power Play. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 254 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 80 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! There were 715 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 206 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 557,241 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Powerball lottery uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play, which multiplies the original prizes except grand prize. The minimum Powerball jackpot is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
