$249,000,000 Powerball jackpot won in AR

A single lucky ticket in AR matched all 6 numbers in the Monday drawing and won the $249,000,000 grand prize. The numbers from Monday night, March 2nd, 2026 were 02-17-18-38-62 with Power Ball number 20. The holder of the winning ticket will now need to determine to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $117.2 million before tax withholding. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Together with the jackpot awarded on Monday, Powerball created many more happy winners walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a single ticket that correctly matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one second prize ticket(s) from PR matched all 5 white ball numbers and also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!

The odds of winning Powerball grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments.
