Nobody won the jackpot. Saturday's Powerball jackpot increases to $101 million

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing was $88 million. According to Powerball, no one hit every number and the jackpot moved to $101 million. The cash option will be an estimated $71.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, June 30th, 2021 were 24-29-50-65-66 with Power Ball number 14.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. A total of 13 lucky tickets won the third prize. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
In addition, 199 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 62 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 500 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 168 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 463,975 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 drawing.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which increases the original prizes but not grand prize. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
