No one won the jackpot. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot goes to $95,000,000

The Powerball multi-state lottery jackpot jumped to $95,000,000 (cash option $$45.7 million) Wednesday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $84,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Monday night, June 24th, 2024 were 05, 06, 36, 53, 69 with Power Ball number 08.
Even though the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were a total of 7 3rd prize winning tickets with or without Power Play option. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional winners Monday evening included 156 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 49 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 337 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 133 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine prize tiers, the Monday night's drawing produced 310,750 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball lottery uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play, which increases the winnings but not jackpot. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
