Powerball jackpot rolls up to $44,000,000 Saturday, June 7th, 2025; Two tickets won the second prize

Saturday's Powerball jackpot leaped to $44,000,000, since no player matched all six winning numbers drawn Wednesday night. The cash value for Saturday will be an estimated $$19.7 million. Wednesday's $30,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, June 4th, 2025 were 05-17-23-35-45 and Powerball number was 24.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were two lucky winners correctly matched all five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The two lucky ticket(s) bought in MD(1) and NY(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
