Wednesday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $154,000,000; 3 players matched the first 5 numbers

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Wednesday, when Powerball lottery has $154,000,000 on the line. The cash value stands at a projected $$73.3 million. Powerball's jackpot rose since nobody hit all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn Monday night. The numbers from Monday, July 29th, 2024 drawing were 11-27-30-33-44 and Powerball number was 16.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 3 lucky players that correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in will collect $1 million cash.
