Powerball jackpot increases to $384,000,000 Wednesday; One player won the second prize

There has been another roll-over in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball game - to $384,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$173.1 million up for grab. The grand prize grew because no one matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number from Monday night's $364,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Monday, July 28th, 2025 drawing were 07-35-36-43-62 and Powerball was 03. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 25 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a $207,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one ticket that correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in CA will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Additional major winners Monday evening included 4 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional players not just matched 4+1, and also bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 185 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 59 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 548 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 192 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.

America's favorite Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 and choose one Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the prizes except grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may select one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
