Saturday's Powerball jackpot builds to $174 million; 2 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball lottery jackpot increased because nobody hit all 6 numbers from Wednesday night's $161 million drawing. The next grand prize leaped to $174 million for Saturday night's drawing. The cash option will be a projected $125.5 million up for grab. The numbers from Wednesday, July 21st, 2021 drawing were 27, 28, 44, 67, 68 and Powerball was 11.
Although there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were 2 lucky winners correctly matched the first 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in Ohio(1) and West Virginia(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other major winners Wednesday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 264 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 71 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! 737 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number.
