Saturday's Powerball jackpot climbs to $150 million; One ticket matched the first 5 numbers

Without a jackpot winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has carried over the grand prize to $150 million for Saturday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $107.6 million. No player matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $137 million jackpot Wednesday. The next Powerball drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, July 14th, 2021 were 33, 46, 52, 59, 62 with Power Ball number 10. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past nine draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. One lucky player from won the $31.00 million jackpot in Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a single lucky ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 second prize ticket(s) from North Carolina matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 2 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
With 9 prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing created 563,325 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the original winnings except grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments in 29 years. Winners may choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
