Powerball jackpot leaps to $498,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in the multi-state Powerball drawing went to $498,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The cash option stands at an estimated $$221 million up for grab. None of the tickets sold for Monday's $478,000,000 drawing hit 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number. The numbers from Monday night, July 13th, 2026 were 05-25-36-40-48 and Powerball was 03. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 31 draws since Monday, May 4th, 2026. Two lucky players from FL and TX won the jackpot in Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 drawing and split $20,000,000.
Although there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a single 2nd prize winning ticket from Monday night's drawing, matching all 5 numbers except the Powerball number. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in VA, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
