The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the nation. Since no one correctly hit all 6 numbers in Monday's drawing the grand prize will build to an estimated $65,000,000! The cash value will be an estimated $$29.4 million. The numbers from Saturday night, January 31st, 2026 were 02-08-14-40-63 and Powerball number was 23.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. 18 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. 6 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
In addition, 248 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 then select 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the prizes except grand prize. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize starts at $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners may select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
