Monday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $56,000,000; 1 ticket won the second prize

Monday's Powerball lottery jackpot jumped to $56,000,000, since no player hit all 6 winning numbers drawn Saturday night. The cash value for Monday will be an estimated $$24.9 million. Saturday's $46,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The numbers from Saturday, January 25th, 2025 drawing were 08-15-17-53-66 with Power Ball number 14.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a single ticket that matched all five lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in TX, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 11 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not just matched 4+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
