Powerball jackpot builds to $31,000,000; 1 player matched the first 5 numbers

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball lottery drawing increased to $31,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The cash value will be $$13.8 million. No ticket sold for Monday's $20,000,000 drawing hit six numbers. The winning numbers from Monday, January 20th, 2025 drawing were 15-16-32-47-54 with Power Ball 06. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 19 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a $260,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole lucky winner matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) bought in TX, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Monday night included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Monday evening included 112 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 51 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 290 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 112 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.

Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system from which winning numbers are chosen.
