The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $303,000,000

The grand prize for Wednesday Powerball game climbed to $303,000,000 (cash value $$132.8 million) after no one matched all six numbers Monday night. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, January 13th, 2025 were 04, 06, 16, 39, 66 and Powerball was 09.
While the grand prize was not hit Monday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky winner matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in VA, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 7 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional prizes won Monday evening included 215 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 67 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 583 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 205 additional players not only matched 3+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With 9 prize levels, the Monday night's drawing generated 462,238 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and choose a Powerball number from a set of 26. Each play costs $2.
