No ticket matched all 6 numbers. Powerball jackpot climbs to $60,000,000

The Powerball lottery jackpot has jumped up to $60,000,000 (cash value $$29.7 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Wednesday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over since nobody matched all 6 winning numbers to take the $46,000,000 jackpot Monday night. The numbers from Monday, January 8th, 2024 drawing were 07, 17, 28, 40, 45 with Power Ball number 02.
While the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. 9 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Also, 175 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 66 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 397 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 151 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
