Huge Powerball jackpot up for grabs Monday night

Monday's Powerball lottery grand prize moved to $230,000,000, because no player matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number drawn Saturday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Monday will be an estimated $$105.2 million. Saturday's $215,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The winning numbers from Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 drawing were 07-18-22-50-65 and Powerball was 15. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for fifteen draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. One lucky winner from OR won the $331,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, January 18th, 2025 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 2 2nd prize winners from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The two lucky ticket(s) sold in IL(1) and VT(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 10 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 281 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 103 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but in addition chose the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 726 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 240 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With 9 prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing generated 566,500 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play option, which increases the winnings except grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may select one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
