Massive Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

The Powerball lottery jackpot has been pumped up to $248,000,000 (cash option $$122.5 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Saturday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over since no one hit all six winning numbers to take the $228,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, February 7th, 2024 were 12-21-62-67-69 with Power Ball 17. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 16 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a 810,000,000 top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a sole lucky player that matched the first five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in Georgia, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional major winners Wednesday evening included 5 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional winners Wednesday night included 184 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 87 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, and also bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each!
