Nobody hit the jackpot. Powerball jackpot climbs to $178,000,000 Wednesday night

The jackpot for Wednesday Powerball game jumped to $178,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$80.7 million) after nobody hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number Monday night. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, December 30th, 2024 were 09, 19, 33, 38, 39 with Power Ball number 01. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 10 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a $260,000,000 top prize.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. 7 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 3 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
