Monday's Powerball jackpot increases to $638,000,000; 3 second prize tickets sold

The MUSL lottery official announced that the Saturday, December 23rd, 2023, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a rollover, producing a $638,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Monday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$321.1 million. The winning numbers from Saturday night, December 23rd, 2023 were 09-14-17-18-53 with Power Ball number 06. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 31 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a 1,730,000,000 top prize.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were 3 lucky tickets correctly matched all five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 ticket(s) in Nebraska matched all 5 numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win! This is part of the Powerball game feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the second prize to 2 million dollar cash. 2 other lucky ticket(s) sold in Arizona(1) and Missouri(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
