Saturday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $1,500,000,000; 8 tickets won the second prize

There has been another carry over in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball lottery - to $1,500,000,000. The cash value stands at a projected $$686.5 million. The grand prize grew since nobody hit all 6 winning numbers from Wednesday night's $1,250,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, December 17th, 2025 were 25, 33, 53, 62, 66 with Power Ball 17.

While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were 8 lucky winners correctly matched all five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 6 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CT(1), NY(3), PA(1) and TN(1) won $1 million cash. The other 2 second prize winner(s) from AZ(1) and MA(1) also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!

Other prizes won Wednesday night included 72 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 14 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
