Monday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $55,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

There were no Powerball game jackpot winners for Saturday's $45,000,000 dollar drawing, so the jackpot will jump to an estimated $55,000,000 with the cash value at an estimated $$25.7 million Monday, December 16th, 2024. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, December 14th, 2024 were 12, 17, 23, 52, 67 and Powerball number was 01.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was only one second prize winning ticket from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in MA will collect $1,000,000 cash.
In addition, 9 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 1 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 229 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 91 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 474 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 177 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With nine different prize tiers, there were a total of 419,312 tickets nationwide won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, December 14th, 2024 drawing.
