Powerball jackpot rises to $1,000,000,000 Saturday; Three second prize tickets sold

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to climb exciting players all across the nation. Because no one correctly matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Saturday's drawing the jackpot will roll up to an estimated $1,000,000,000! The cash option stands at a projected $$461.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 drawing were 10, 16, 29, 33, 69 and Powerball number was 22. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for 41 draws since Monday, September 8th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by 2 tickets sold in MO and TX, matched all six numbers and split a $1,800,000,000 top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were three tickets that correctly matched the first five numbers and won the second prize. The 3 lucky ticket(s) sold in MD(1), MI(1) and NJ(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 37 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 14 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! America's favorite Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play Powerball, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 69 then select one Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338.
