The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $240,000,000

Wednesday's Powerball lottery jackpot built to $240,000,000, because no player matched all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number drawn Monday night. The cash option for Wednesday will be $$113.6 million. Monday's $224,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The numbers drawn Monday night, December 2nd, 2024 were 03, 09, 26, 61, 67 with Power Ball 13.
Although there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched the first 5 numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in MA won 1 million dollar cash.
