Powerball jackpot rises to $80,000,000 Monday; One player matched the first five numbers

The Powerball jackpot increased because no player matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number from Saturday night's $69,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot climbed to $80,000,000 for Monday night's drawing. The cash option will be an estimated $$39.5 million. The winning numbers from Saturday, August 31st, 2024 drawing were 04-34-35-38-69 and Powerball was 19.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one lucky player that correctly matched the first five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
