The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $526,000,000

Without a jackpot winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has carried over its jackpot to $526,000,000 for Wednesday night's drawing. The cash option will be $$241 million. No player hit all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $501,000,000 jackpot Monday. The next Powerball drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Wednesday night. The numbers from Monday night, August 11th, 2025 were 06-16-33-40-62 and Powerball was 02.
Though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 3 2nd prize winning tickets from Monday night's drawing, matching all five numbers but not the Powerball number. The 3 lucky ticket(s) sold in NJ(1), VA(1) and WA(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 17 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 5 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Monday evening included 300 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 98 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! Other prizes won Monday night included 771 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 216 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 different prize levels, there were 620,393 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Monday, August 11th, 2025 drawing.
Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the winnings but not grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners may select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
