Monday's Powerball jackpot rises to $115,000,000; Two players won the second prize

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Because nobody correctly hit all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, the grand prize will move to a projected $115,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout will be $$53.1 million. The numbers from Saturday, April 20th, 2024 drawing were 04, 35, 41, 44, 58 with Power Ball 25. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 6 draws since Monday, April 8th, 2024. A single lucky winner from OR walked away with 1,300,000,000 jackpot in Saturday, April 6th, 2024 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were two tickets that matched all five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The two lucky ticket(s) bought in OH(1) and PR(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Power Play option, which increases the prizes but not jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years.
