No one hit the jackpot. Powerball jackpot jumps to $65,000,000

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Since no one correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday's drawing, the jackpot will go to $65,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$31.4 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Monday, April 7th, 2025 drawing were 20, 23, 48, 59, 66 with Power Ball 04.
Though there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. A total of 5 lucky players won the third prize. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Monday night included 118 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 53 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 348 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 112 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 295,208 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Monday, April 7th, 2025 drawing.
Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 and pick one Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
