A single winner from DE won $231,000,000 jackpot from the Powerball drawing Monday night

One winning lottery ticket worth $231,000,000 was purchased in DE. The Powerball game grand prize was won by one ticket, although it wasn't yet known if that ticket is held by a single winner or a group. The winning numbers from Monday, April 6th, 2026 drawing were 07, 24, 37, 42, 57 and Powerball number was 05. The winner can take a cash option worth $105 million before taxes, or decide to receive 29-year, 30-installment annuity option. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
