Nobody won the jackpot last night. Monday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $54,000,000

The grand prize in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps moving up and will be up to a projected $54,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Monday. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $$26.1 million. The amount was rolled over since no one matched all 6 numbers to win the $47,000,000 jackpot Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday night, April 5th, 2025 were 04, 23, 30, 46, 62 and Powerball number was 02.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. A total of 8 lucky players won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Also, 195 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 66 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 525 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 178 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
With nine prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing created 420,609 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball game uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system to randomly choose winning numbers. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball jackpot are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
