The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $423,000,000

The projected grand prize for Tuesday night's drawing was $400,000,000. According to official Mega Millions, no player matched every number and the jackpot jumped to an estimated $423,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$196.5 million up for grab. The numbers from Tuesday, September 16th, 2025 drawing were 10-14-34-40-43 with Mega Ball number 05 and Megaplier x. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 50 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million top prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 6 3rd prize lucky winners. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional winners Tuesday evening included 203 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 573 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.

Compared with other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are parimutuel, instead of non-jackpot prize having a fixed value.
