No one hit the jackpot. Huge Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery jackpot built to $600,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$277.2 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $575,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, October 10th, 2025 were 03, 18, 23, 32, 56 with Mega Ball number 08 and Megaplier x.
Although there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. 7 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday night included 274 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 921 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were 650,146 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, October 10th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and D.C. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from a set of 70 and select one Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
Unlike other Mega Millions participants, all the 9 prize tiers of California Mega Millions are parimutuel, instead of non-jackpot prize having a fixed value. This results in different prize amounts for equivalent winning tickets sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other 43 states. As an example, the 2nd Mega Millions prizes is a million dollar could pay the winner more than a million dollar due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, CA state lottery doesn't have Megaplier like other Mega Millions participants.
