Friday's Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $108,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, creating an $108,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Friday. The cash value stands at an estimated $$53.8 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, October 1st, 2024 were 27, 35, 47, 50, 66 and the Mega Ball was 25, Megaplier was 2.
Though the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was only one lucky player that matched all five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) sold in NY, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 3 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 181 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 501 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
