The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing moved to $522,000,000 for the Friday drawing. The cash value will be a projected $$241.4 million. None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $489,000,000 drawing hit five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, May 28th, 2024 were 12-18-48-57-62 and the Mega Ball was 04, Megaplier was 5. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 18 draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.One lucky winner from NJ won the $0 million top prize in Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 10 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 368 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 994 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. Contrary to other Mega Millions participants, all the nine prize levels of California Mega Millions are parimutuel, rather than non-jackpot prize having a fixed amount. This results in different prize amounts for equivalent winners sold in the state of California when compared to those sold in other forty three jurisdictons. One example is, the 2nd Mega Millions prizes is a million dollar could pay the winner over $1000,000 due to the pari-mutuel payout system of California lottery. For the same reason, California state lottery does not have Megaplier like other Mega Millions states.
